Bundesanstalt Technisches Hilfswerk Patches, THW circa 2000 until Today

As a follow up posting to yesterday's THW uniform shirt, I thought I would show off a set of the current Technisches Hilfswerk, THW, shoulder patches.

These patches are also from my friend in the THW, Berlin.  These patches are the current style that are worn on the field uniforms.  This is the style that was adopted about 2000 to replace the old triangle ones.  The German patch is worn on the left shoulder and the English patch is worn on the right shoulder.  They are both worn at the same time.  Now that the THW is a truly international relief agency, they wear dual language patches.

The patches are a bevo weave with Velcro sewn to the back so that the patches can be moved between uniform garments.
